The Country Road Shell was inspired by our little dirt road. It’s made up of a lot of sand and little stones from beginning to end.
 
Every time we go for a walk, my children run up, multiple times, excited to show me the beautiful rocks they have found. They bring many home and they live in jars on a shelf. They dump them out from time to time to admire the beauty of their found treasure.
 
How wonderful it is to see the world from the eyes of a child. They see the beauty in everything. That is something I want to hold onto forever.
 
The Country Road Shell is worked as 2 separate panels with a simple stitch repeat, then seamed together and finished off with a few little details.
