The Tidal Mittens were dreamed up when we received and early snow this Fall. The design process came fairly quick as inspiration struck. These mittens are worked in the round, from the bottom up. They include a ribbed cuff and a squishy cable body. The cuff travels up your arm to just the perfect spot to stop the cold air from sneaking in.
These mittens are great to try if you are a beginner and are comfortable working in the round on DPNs. The cables are an easy repeat and perfect for a first try.
 
Yarn: WAK, Petite Wool, CYC 4 Aran Weight Yarn
Needles: US 9 (5.5 mm), US 10 (6 mm)
Gauge: 16 sts x 22 rows = 4x4" (10x10 cm)
Yardage: 150-185 yards (137-156 meters)
